It's been a little while since our last weekly wrap up and boy have we been busy! Here's what has been happening in and around our HQ:
We grew again!!! (In case you missed it, Skye joined our team.. woohoo!)
We assisted a young participant to engage in a wonderful experience with a new #SpeechTherapist
We supported another young #participant to engage with new supports to build their independence
We supported a participant to rediscover his love for Hydrotherapy by connecting to a #SupportWorker.
We have onboarded 2 new participants
We have supported a number of participants to connect with iPads for education and communication needs.
We have connected a number of participants to aids and equipment they need.
We visited the amazing home ground of the baseball team Melbourne Aces. The season commences in November and we are looking forward to bringing some of our participants to a few of the home games.
It's #Homeless Week and Annalisa had the privilege of attending a Salvation Army event acknowledging #homelessness. With a lot of help from the members of #BNI we were able to offer over 300 coats to people who need them. (That's the power of networking!)
