It's amazing what you can get done in a 4 day week. Here's what happened in the M&A world:
Met with a client to go over the final details of her son’s plan before we head into a plan review. He is 10 years old with Cerebral Palsy thriving with his NDIS plan.
On the same day went straight to our second client who is 61 years old with early onset Dementia. We met with his Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Support Worker. Together we discussed how he was going and the potential changes that need to occur in the home to keep him as independent as possible.
Met with a Wardrobe stylist - Toula who may be able to help some of our clients declutter their wardrobe, and prepare others for job interviews. Such an amazing service! (Let us know if you'd like a connection to Toula, she's fantastic!)
Onboarded 4 new clients and discussed their plans and how it can be used to achieve their goals.
Met a 19 year old participant who taught herself to sew and make the most amazing fur animal costumes. Everything from designing the picture, making the patterns and 3D eyes.
Met with two of the members of our ‘Dream Team’: 1. John, who is designing our website to finalise a few outstanding items (It's coming soon woohooo!!!) - https://www.adene.com.au 2. Sam, our Graphic Designer who is finalising new postcards and pull up banners (Can't wait for you to see these!) - https://www.samburrone.design/
Took a participant for coffee which was lovely. We just caught up on what she had been up to in the last month and how her NDIS services were going.
Attended an industry network dinner and met some amazing local businesses.
That’s a wrap! Now time to relax with family and friends over the next 4 days. Wishing you all a wonderful Easter break.
